The Role:
As Wedding & Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing weddings and private events from the initial enquiry through to the big day itself. Working closely with the General Manager, Sales Manager and wider venue team, you will help deliver a first-class experience while meeting sales targets and maintaining the high standards Palm Court Hotel is known for.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle all incoming wedding and event enquiries professionally and promptly

Conduct engaging and informative show rounds with potential clients

Create and present bespoke wedding and event proposals in line with client budgets and expectations

Act as the main point of contact for clients from enquiry to post-event follow-up

Co-ordinate closely with operations and kitchen teams to ensure smooth event delivery

Manage booking administration including contracts, deposits, and function sheets
-
Share clear, detailed event briefs with the wider team ahead of service

Support the delivery of pre-booked sales targets

Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and the internal team

Identify and communicate any potential leads or sales opportunities to the wider group
The Person:
The ideal candidate will:

Be enthusiastic, organised, and customer-focused

Have experience in coordinating weddings and events in a hospitality setting

Be an excellent communicator with a strong attention to detail

Thrive under pressure and enjoy problem-solving

Have a methodical and structured approach to planning
