We are looking for staff to work in the coming weeks to cover upcoming functions and events at [add venue and location] on a casual basis and some of our other Edinburgh Venues.

As part of our floor staff team, you will be the face of hospitality, ensuring guests receive exceptional service across various venues. As part of our bar staff team, you will be working in a range of vibrant venues, serving drinks, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a great atmosphere for guests. Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Staff
    • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Take orders and serve food and beverages with a high level of attentiveness and efficiency.
    • Ensure that tables are clean, set up, and well-maintained throughout service.
    • Assist with clearing tables, resetting for the next guests, and keeping the dining area tidy.
    • Handle customer enquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
    • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
    • Support with events and functions, providing top-notch service to guests.
  • Bar Staff
    • Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and soft drinks.
    • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and ensuring a positive experience.
    • Keep the bar area clean, organised and well-stocked at all times.
    • Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
    • Assist with bar setup and breakdown, including stock replenishment and cleaning duties.
    • Work closely with other team members and venue staff to ensure smooth service.
    • Adhere to all licensing laws, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience is an advantage, but not essential – full training can be provided.
  • A strong work ethic and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
