Position Summary: As the Assistant Front of House Manager at The Scotsman Hotel, you will play a pivotal role in delivering amazing guest experiences at Scotland’s most iconic and luxurious heritage hotels. You will deputise leading the Front of House team, including the Concierge & Reception Teams, ensuring smooth and efficient operations while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a prestigious hotel where your leadership and guest service skills will shine.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Front of House team and deputise the Front of House Manager as required, including the Concierge & Reception Teams.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations and consistently deliver the highest standards of guest service in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications:

  • A great "can do" approach to customer service.
  • Friendly approach to everyone you interact with.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Ability to work independently with strong problem solving skills.
  • Currently employed in a luxury hotel Front of House position.
  • Excellent presentation and professional approach.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop your team.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a passion for guest satisfaction.
  • Opera Cloud knowledge is a definite advantage.
  • Experience in a similar management role and experience with computerised reservations, particularly Opera, would be advantageous.

  • Great leadership skills and enjoy working as part of a team in a social environment.
  • Availability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as per business needs.
