The Role:
As an Assistant Events Manager, you will support the Events Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events, from corporate functions to private parties, ensuring that each one is memorable and runs smoothly. This role is perfect for someone with experience in hospitality or events management, who is looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Brief and organise the floor and bar team on their role/tasks at the beginning of each shift/event.
- Support the events manager in the smooth and effective service of large events and weddings.
- Organise and help set, reset and close down the events rooms.
- Provide efficient, professional and friendly customer service across all events.
- To run the operations for small events and services.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in events coordination, hospitality, or a similar role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Be able to take direction but also work well independently and with minimal supervision from management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude
- Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends as required
