Named for the ground‑breaking national newspaper that took up residence in these beautiful Baroque buildings, The Scotsman Hotel of today is a luxury hotel retaining many of its original features. Our Meetings & Event spaces combine a sense of occasion with all the flexibility and state of the art facilities that you would expect from one of Scotland’s most historic Hotels.

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences by assisting with a variety of events, including birthdays, weddings, conferences, and baby showers. Your key duties will involve providing outstanding service, ensuring smooth event operations, and thriving in a fast‑paced work environment.

  • Supervising daily operation.
  • Ensuring consistently excellent customer service is delivered.
  • Managing service standards and staff development.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Great leadership skills and enjoy working as part of a team in a social environment.
  • Availability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as per business needs.
