We are looking for a talented Housekeepers to join our SPACE student accommodation.
The Summer Housekeeper is responsible for delivering consistently high cleaning standards throughout guest bedrooms, apartments and communal areas. Working as part of a fast paced team, you will help prepare rooms for arriving guests, maintain public spaces and ensure our buildings remain clean, safe and presentation ready throughout the summer season.
Attention to detail, reliability and pride in your work are essential to succeeding in this role.
Fixed Term Until September 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Clean guest bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens to company standards.
- Complete departure cleans, stayover services and deep cleans as required.
- Prepare accommodation for new arrivals within required turnaround times.
- Clean and maintain communal areas including lounges, corridors, lifts, stairwells and entrance areas.
- Replenish guest amenities, toiletries and consumables.
- Report maintenance issues promptly using company procedures.
- Ensure all rooms are presented to the highest standard before inspection.
- Follow cleaning schedules and daily task allocations.
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSHH regulations.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
- Maintain housekeeping cupboards, trolleys and storage areas in a clean and organised condition.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
- Support linen handling and stock movement where required.
- Deliver friendly and professional customer service when interacting with residents and guests.
- Assist with large scale summer changeovers involving hundreds of arrivals and departures.
