The role also has responsibility for carrying out train dispatch ensuring services depart at the scheduled time. Flexibility is essential to meet shift requirements as varied turns of duty involved including weekend working. The relief post will have a contractual commitment to work, when required by the company up to a maximum of 13 Sundays per calendar year.Reference salary £29,771 per annum, Training salary £22,147 per annum.Selection ProcessSelection process: Candidates short-listed will be invited to attend an assessment centre. Following assessment successful candidates will be invited to attend a competency-based interview. The final stage for successful candidates will be a medical examination and drug & alcohol screening. Appointees must submit at least two satisfactory references, Disclosure Scotland clearance and complete a six-month probation period.
