This exciting opportunity of SGA Dispatch at Edinburgh Waverley will include provision of a high standard of customer service to the travelling customers. Responsibilities include:
- Train dispatch, ensuring services depart at the scheduled time.
- Provision of information to customers when required.
What you bring:
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused approach.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Punctual, reliable, and committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming station environment.
- Customer Service SVQ (Scottish Vocational Qualification) would be advantageous.
- Understanding of railway geography.
- Ability to handle customer interactions during service disruptions.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Full training will be provided.
Salary: Β£23,816, after completion of training: Β£32,015.
Further information: Various shift patterns. Station Grade Area and Internal GPR and RDR posts will have a contractual commitment to work, when required by the company, up to a maximum of 13 Sunday turns per calendar.
