Temporary Deputy Manager
Semichem is a value driven multi-product retailer with stores across Scotland, Northern Ireland and the North East of England. We have more than 80 stores located in both shopping centres and on traditional High Streets.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our store team as a Deputy Manager.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the best possible level of customer service is consistently delivered in line with agreed standards and performance targets
- Supporting the store to achieve contribution budget by driving sales and controlling costs
- Ensuring that best practices are implemented and consistently executed on a day to day basis e.g. store presentation, point of sale, promotional execution
- Coaching, training and developing staff to meet store and business needs, and delivering personal development opportunities
Qualifications
Our perfect Deputy Manager candidates will have retail supervisory experience ideally in variety retail, although we would like to hear from anyone who has a real passion for retail, who wants to develop a career in a fast paced environment.
