Scotmas Group are seeking a Stores Person. In this role, you will be responsible for stock control in our mechanical and electrical stores for our production teams.

Responsibilities
- Picking and kitting components to support the production teams
- Packing and preparing outgoing orders for despatch
- Receiving incoming deliveries, checking against purchase orders and logging any discrepancies
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift
- Cycle counting and stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy
- General housekeeping and organisation of the stores area
Experience
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or logistics environment
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence
- Good attention to detail, particularly around stock accuracy and order packing
- Comfortable working at pace in a physical role
- A self-starter who takes ownership of their area
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Experience using an ERP or stock management system would be an advantage
- Goods in / goods out in a manufacturing environment
