The Opportunity: We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with experience in teaching and equine husbandry to join our Equine Team. This is a great opportunity to help inspire and support students as they develop their practical skills, knowledge, and confidence across our range of Equine courses. In this role, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering practical sessions and assessments, ensuring students receive a high-quality learning experience in a supportive and engaging environment.
As part of the Equine Team, you'll work closely with colleagues to provide an excellent student experience. You'll prepare and deliver practical activities, assess student progress in line with awarding body requirements, and maintain accurate records of teaching, assessment, and attendance. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with young people and can create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You'll be passionate about helping students achieve their goals while sharing your knowledge and experience of the equine industry.
You'll also play a key role in supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement activities, taking part in meetings, professional development opportunities, and performance review processes. Building and maintaining strong links with industry contacts will be important to ensure our courses remain relevant and up to date. If you're a team player with a passion for equine education and the drive to make a difference to students' learning and future careers, we'd love to hear from you.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must be qualified to a minimum of BHS Stage 3 Coach (AI) and/or hold a degree in a relevant equine-related subject. This will ensure candidates have the necessary technical knowledge and practical expertise to support and assess students effectively.
