Scotland\’s Rural College (SRUC) has developed an innovative new School of Veterinary Medicine. We have a clear ambition to ‘promote the resilience of our graduates to sustainably support the animals and rural communities at the heart of Scotland\’s Natural Economy\’. This is a ground-breaking model to expand access to educational opportunities and broaden the range of potential students who would not ordinarily be able to attend a School of Veterinary Medicine. It will also help solve existing skills shortages across Scotland\’. The Opportunity: We are looking for a Technical Support Officer (Equine) to join our team friendly team at Aberdeen. The main duties and responsibilities of the role will be to attend to the care of our equines, ensuring high welfare standards are maintained at all times. There will be additional duties of welfare checks for our small herd of ruminants who also reside at Sunnybrae Farm Stables.
