Head of Communications | EMMS in Edinburgh

Location: Home based with occasional travel to Edinburgh office, elsewhere in UK and
overseas (once per annum approx)
Job type: Permanent, full time
This role is central to EMMS’ strategy for growth. You will work under a highly
experienced Director of Communications and operate as a team of two, shaping and
delivering a new brand and website for the charity. You will be heavily involved in all
communications functions: advocacy, public affairs, digital engagement, fundraising,
internal comms and campaigns.
This will be an enormously exciting and rewarding position for someone who brings
significant experience, especially in the digital marketing and engagement field, and

life-saving mission to the world’s most vulnerable people.

You will need to be based in Scotland to be considered for these roles.
EMMS’ origins lie in the Christian faith. There is no requirement for staff to be practising
Christians but they must be at ease communicating with stakeholders who may support
EMMS because of its Christianity.
