About The Yard:

The Yard is an award-winning charity that aims to build a community of support for disabled children and young people through adventure play and in doing so create opportunities for fun and friendship and wrap around support for the whole family. We offer play, respite and family support from our adventure play centres in Edinburgh, Dundee, Fife and Glasgow.

About the role:

As Fundraising Assistant, you will provide key administrative support to the fundraising team to achieve The Yard’s charitable objectives while helping raise the profile of our services across Scotland.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working on small and medium funding applications to Trusts and Foundations
  • Building relationships with donors through active reporting and stewardship
  • Supporting the creation of content for fundraising on social media
