- Support, coach and guide colleagues, sharing knowledge and developing team capability
- Deputise for the Senior Procurement Specialist when required
- Support User Intelligence Groups to help maximise value and efficiency for local authorities
- Ensure compliance with procurement legislation, policies and organisational procedures
- Contribute to robust contract recommendations and procurement assessments
- Undertake research and analysis to support informed procurement decisions
About You: We're looking for someone who combines procurement expertise with excellent organisational and relationship-building skills. You'll ideally have:
- Experience delivering public sector procurement exercises from initiation through to contract award
- The ability to manage quick quotes through PCS while maintaining quality and compliance

- Experience preparing stakeholder assessments and supporting service delivery solutions
- The ability to review financial information and identify risks, liabilities and potential issues
- An HND in a business-related discipline (or equivalent qualification)
