What You'll Be Doing
- As a Senior Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, building and enhancing mission-critical regulatory technology platforms.
- Working within a collaborative Agile environment, you'll partner with engineers, product owners, business analysts and compliance stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that support global regulatory reporting and controls.
- Designing and developing real-time, message-driven microservices and data platforms.
- Building scalable cloud-native solutions leveraging Kubernetes and modern container technologies.
- Driving engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing and event-driven architecture.
- Supporting critical regulatory reporting and compliance workflows across global markets.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues, driving continuous improvement and platform resilience.
- Evaluating and adopting emerging technologies to improve performance, scalability and operational effectiveness.
- Mentoring and supporting fellow engineers while fostering a collaborative, inclusive team culture.
What You’ll Have:
- Strong development experience in Java, Python or similar enterprise technologies.
- Experience building distributed systems, microservices and API-based architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerised environments.
- Knowledge of messaging and event-streaming technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or JMS.
- Strong database experience, including SQL and ideally technologies such as Oracle, Redis or Elasticsearch.
- Experience with JSON, XML, Avro or similar data formats.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Location & Working Pattern: London (Hybrid Working). We offer a flexible hybrid model combining office collaboration with remote working. Occasional out-of-hours support may be required during production releases or major incidents.
