They provide unconventional approaches to tough business challenges, drawing up evaluation systems that consider all possible factors instead of focusing on just the direct causative factor. Their responsibilities also include assessing the capacity of an organization to achieve its set objectives and goals, evaluating the assets and capability of a company to identify loopholes and limitations, and creating investment models that suggest suitable investment schemes for a firm to pursue considering available funding and objectives.

In addition, business architects are skilled in measuring the effectiveness of a business strategy, determining the degree of strategy implementation, and the outcome of an implemented strategy.
