Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Finance function in Europe in ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. The Manager, Business Analyst, GBM Finance Europe will involve gathering requirements, analyzing data, and collaborating with stakeholders to maintain and enhance Axiom functionality.
Accountabilities
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Work closely with Regulatory Reporting and Technology to understand regulatory reporting requirement and what is required for implementation.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for Axiom configuration and reporting templates.
- Develop and execute test plans for Axiom changes and upgrades.
- Support UAT and coordinate with technical teams for defect resolution.
- Contributes to a high-performance environment and fosters an inclusive work environment; supporting the vision/values/business strategy for the team.
- Validate data integrity and completeness across source systems and Axiom.
- Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and Axiom vendor support.
Education / Experience
- MBA or MS in Finance, Risk or Computer Science.
- Verifiable progressive experience of problem solving of financial information.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Prior experience supporting Axiom application is essential.
- Able to proactively manage demands of competing stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimum managerial supervision.
