Position Overview: Contributes to the overall success of the Asset Servicing team within the GWO Middle Office in the UK & Globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / achieved in line with the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
What You’ll Do:
- Primary duties include processing of all EMEA & UK income (coupon) & redemptions.
- Query management of coupon claims shared mailbox.
- Processing of internal ledger entries & Swift MT202 payments to settle claims.
- Daily review/narration of open nostro breaks (cash events) & depot breaks (redemption events).
- Secondary coverage of Optional Dividend & Corporate Action event processing.
- Reconciliation of books and records, event notifications, deadline management, paydate processing.
- Liaison with SBL counterparties & Internal FO & Ops teams.
What You’ll Bring:
- Detailed knowledge of Security Operations in general and of the Corporate Actions and Income/Coupon/Redemption process & Cash Funding impact.
- Understanding of SBL, Repo, Fixed Income, Prime Services and Swaps.
- Good knowledge of Equity & Fixed Income securities.
- Strong analytical & organizational skills and capability to react to financial risks.
- Good knowledge of the Euroclear & BNP.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Good operating knowledge of the Gloss Broadridge system.
