We are currently looking for experienced HGV Drivers to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations for a client in Ayrshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our fleet of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) while adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate assigned HGVs in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Transport goods to various locations in a timely manner, ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure the security of cargo during transportation, adhering to loading and unloading procedures.
