We are looking for Tekla Detailers for a client in Edinburgh. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the design and development of critical Transmission and Distribution infrastructure projects. You will be working alongside an experienced, dynamic and innovative team.
The primary function of the role is to develop clear and concise models and drawing packs for the Transmission Tower library as well as:
- Interpreting client engineering and architectural drawings and specifications
- Utilising Tekla Structures to create 3D models of Transmission Towers and its constituent parts
- Developing a library of Transmission Tower models, including parts and bolt lists to reduce lead times and reduce error rates on the shop floor
- Importing CAM/BIM information into ERP software and performing material nesting, workshop work orders
