The predicted salary is between 15 - 20 £ per hour.

We are currently looking for Steel Erectors for a client in Edinburgh.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Main duties will be to install fire escape stairs, handrail and balustrade systems (including stainless steel and glass).
  • Secondary steelwork, walkways etc.
  • Site Installation.
  • On site welding.
  • Using various fixing systems.
  • Overcoming site issues.
  • Lining and leveling installed components.
  • Excellent attitude towards the customer.

Essential skills/experience:

  • Must be physically fit, as there is a lot of lifting involved in this job position.
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools.
  • Experience in Architectural Metalwork i.e. Balconies, balustrades, staircases and structural steel work.
  • Experience in an assembly environment and building of special purpose equipment or has worked as an assembly fitter.
  • Have the ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Will include occasional away working.
  • CSCS card is essential. IPAF, PASMA an advantage.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.

Competitive hourly rate (overtime available).
