We are looking for a Mechanical and Electrical Fit Out Operative for a client in Edinburgh. As a Mechanical and Electrical Fitout operator, your primary responsibility is to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems within various structures, such as commercial buildings, residential complexes, or industrial facilities. You will work under the direction of senior technicians or project managers to ensure that all systems are installed correctly and operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, electrical wiring, and lighting fixtures.
  • Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and instructions provided by senior technicians or project managers to ensure accurate installation and alignment of systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of mechanical and electrical equipment to identify any issues or potential problems.
  • Perform repairs on malfunctioning equipment or systems, including troubleshooting electrical circuits, replacing worn-out components, and adjusting mechanical parts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all installation and maintenance activities.
