You will provide assurance to the Executive and the Board regarding compliance, resilience, and the health of our risk environment. As a key bridge between strategic safety leadership and the rest of the business, your focus will be on ensuring that risks to people, operations, assets and reputation are effectively identified, assessed, mitigated and reported.

- Champion a positive safety and risk culture, encouraging open reporting, continuous improvement, proactive risk management and shared accountability for safe outcomes.
- Provide expert advice and constructive challenge to senior leaders, Executive teams and Boards, enabling informed decision-making on risk, assurance and governance matters.
- Oversee enterprise-wide risk management and business continuity frameworks, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, managed and reported effectively, and that the organisation is prepared to respond to incidents and disruptions.
- Lead assurance activities across the organisation, including internal audit, compliance monitoring, control testing and independent assurance reviews, to strengthen governance and organisational resilience.
- Drive continual improvement in health, safety and assurance performance, overseeing incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, performance reporting and the implementation of lessons learned.
What you will need:
- At least 15 years experience in Health and Safety, with significant senior leadership experience in highly regulated and high-risk industries.
- A NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and Chartered membership of IOSH (CMIOSH).
- Proven ability to lead multiple SHE functions, delivering service excellence through high performing and high impact teams.
