Scotch Orchard Primary School, an irresistible place to belong, learn and grow.
Due to a valued member of our teaching team reducing their working hours, we have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Class Teacher to join us at Scotch Orchard Primary School.
We are a small, one-form entry Primary School with big ambitions for our children and our staff. Over the last twelve months, we have worked incredibly hard to improve our school and we are so proud of the progress that we have made. We still have plenty to do, meaning this is an exciting time for a new class teacher to join us and drive our school even further forward.
Our aim is for Scotch Orchard Primary School to be an irresistible place for children. However, we believe that this should be just as true for the staff who work here.
We recognise how demanding and challenging the role of a class teacher can be. As a result, we work hard to ensure that our staff team feel valued and supported. Our carefully planned, ambitious curriculum is designed to reduce unnecessary workload and give teachers time to do what they do best: teach!
We also invest heavily in staff development, with evidence-informed training and opportunities for staff to develop their practice and progress rapidly.
What makes Scotch Orchard most special, is the team of people who support the children. We are a close-knit group of staff who genuinely enjoy working together. There is a sense of team spirit at Scotch Orchard, where everybody looks out for one another. We work hard, but we also have fun along the way!
What can we offer you?

- Wonderful children who are proud of their school and need the love and support you can offer them.
- The exciting prospect of supporting a school improvement journey on its way to Exceptional!

- We are looking for somebody with high expectations for every child and is willing to contribute to the transformation of children's lives.
- We want somebody who is honest and willing to make a difference beyond their four classroom walls.
- Above all, we are looking for somebody who shares our ambition for children and is willing to drive our school forward to EXCELLENCE.
