Dundee is the 4th largest city in Scotland, situated on the central east coast at the mouth of the river Tay. The rolling Angus hills to the north lead to the Cairngorm and highlands, picturesque Fife across the Tay to the south and central Scotland opens to the west. It has been named the coolest little city in Britain by GQ, and number 5 on the Wall Street Journal’s worldwide hot destinations in previous years. A world hub for design and technology, Britain’s EV capital, home to the first V&A outside of London and soon to be Scotland’s first Eden project as well. Two Universities, two professional football teams, Britain's only full-time public observatory, galleries, theatre, music venues and home to the ‘world’s worst poet’ - well we can’t have everything!
We’re a friendly, supportive team that spends time together, sharing ideas and learning.
We have medical students from the University of Dundee at various stages of their training and are aiming to become a training practice in the future.
The practice list is currently around 8200 and offers patients a variety of allied services including Community Care and Treatment Service, Sources of Support (social prescriber), PALMS, Brooksbank and a Listening service. We have Health Visitors and Pharmacology staff on-site as well as excellent links with our District Nursing, Enhanced Care at Home and Palliative Care teams.
We are a vision practice, use Docman, and have a mixture of face to face and telephone appointments all lasting 15 minutes. We have a dedicated duty doctor each day for urgent triage and appointments. House calls are shared between duty doctor and our ANPs. We use e-consult for on-line triage and arranging pre-bookable appointments.

- bean to cup coffee machine with fresh coffee beans provided to help keep us all going.

Some tips for your application 🫡
Show Off Your Credentials:When applying for a physician role, make sure to highlight your medical qualifications and any special certifications you have. Personal stories about transformative experiences—like a memorable patient encounter or a moment that defined your career path—can really make you shine.
