My global banking client, is looking for a Junior Financial Accountant to join the Whiteley (Hampshire) team.

6 month contract on a Hybrid basis (2 days a week in Whiteley), paying £375pd.

  • Newly qualified ACCA or ACA
  • Experience working as an Accountant in Financial Services / Banking

Responsibilities:

  • Manage month-end processing, including schedules creation, accounts integration, and monthly controls
  • Process reinsurance premiums and claims with supporting schedules
  • Perform monthly reconciliations across accounts
  • Oversee Investment Operations (daily dealing, pricing) and related reporting (monthly, regulatory, tax, statutory)
  • Execute and maintain monthly control processes
  • Identify and remediate issues in reconciliations and ledgers
  • Provide training and handover support
