My global banking client, is looking for a Junior Financial Accountant to join the Whiteley (Hampshire) team.
6 month contract on a Hybrid basis (2 days a week in Whiteley), paying £375pd.
- Newly qualified ACCA or ACA
- Experience working as an Accountant in Financial Services / Banking
Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end processing, including schedules creation, accounts integration, and monthly controls
- Process reinsurance premiums and claims with supporting schedules
- Perform monthly reconciliations across accounts
- Oversee Investment Operations (daily dealing, pricing) and related reporting (monthly, regulatory, tax, statutory)
- Execute and maintain monthly control processes
- Identify and remediate issues in reconciliations and ledgers
- Provide training and handover support
