My Client is a Global Bank based in London; they are looking for multiple contract ITSM Resilience SMEs. We need contractors that are skilled in IT Service Management (ITSM) and Third Party Management. In this role, you’ll help strengthen resilience across third‑party services, support the implementation of key technology controls, and play a central role in shaping a growing function. You’ll also build strong relationships across third‑party management and wider business and technology teams to deliver high‑quality service.
We need a ‘blackbelt’ in ITIL / IT Service Management (i.e. ITIL v4 Managing Professional / Strategic Leader / Master) with some Third Party Management. Area of focus is IT controls work (IT accreditations, ITIL background, assessments of third‑party supplier landscapes). Based in Sheffield, 3 days a week. 6‑month contract. Rate ranges from £750‑£1000 per day.
Qualifications- Strong ITSM experience within the Banking / Financial Services industry.
- Experienced in IT Service Management (ITIL), technology resilience, and operating effectively within risk and control environments; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in IT Service Management with deep knowledge of ITIL principles and technology controls across solution design and implementation, recovery from disruption and the operational environment.
- Ability to be highly effective within a risk and control management environment.
- Strong experience in supplier/vendor management and end‑to‑end third‑party management processes.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL v4.
- Act as a key central point of contact to consult with and provide Subject Matter Expertise to Supplier‑facing colleagues, supporting them in reviewing and analysing responses provided by Third Parties against technology resilience control requirements throughout the service lifecycle.
- Ensure analysis and identified gaps in compliance are clearly documented to provide a consumable and coherent view of the Third Party resilience position for stakeholders across various levels of seniority and ITSM proficiency, in order to agree required uplift with the Supplier.
- Support with external discussions and, where required, lead on engagement directly with Third Parties driving effective communication of analysis to establish and jointly agree uplift plans to embed resilience, utilising effective influencing skills to drive the right outcomes.
