Overview

IDM Developer – One Identity Manager

My global banking client, based in London, is looking for a contract IDM Developer. The IDM Developer will be responsible for providing lead analysis, development and support primarily around the One Identity Manager (by Quest) platform, with potential to work on other systems. 6 month contract, paying £750 per day.

Responsibilities

  • IDM business, systems analysis and implementation work
  • IDM including normal functions and exception processing
  • Proven investigative and diagnostic skills on the IDM platform support environment
  • Experience of dealing with third party in-house / vendor interfaces and defining new interfaces and reports IDM platform
  • Identity Management Expertise: Design, customize, configure, and integrate One Identity Manager (OIM) with systems like AD, Azure AD, and SAP, while implementing RBAC, compliance rules, and provisioning workflows
  • Platform Administration: Perform upgrades, patches, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for identity provisioning/de-provisioning
  • Collaboration & Documentation: Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, document designs/procedures, and ensure compliance with SoD/Toxic rules
  • Tools & Testing: Skilled in Jira, Confluence, and service desk for issue tracking; experienced in application testing, defect analysis, and solution documentation

Qualifications

  • Identity Management Expertise: design, configure, and integrate One Identity Manager (OIM) with AD, Azure AD, and SAP
  • RBAC, compliance rules, and provisioning workflows
  • Platform administration: upgrades, patches, performance tuning, troubleshooting
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and service desk
  • Proven ability to translate requirements into technical solutions and document designs
  • Knowledge of AD, Azure AD, SAP, MS SQL, Oracle, .Net, PowerShell (as per keywords)

Responsibilities (Project Delivery & Support)

  • IDM Project Delivery: Manage and deliver change projects and small work items across the full IT lifecycle (requirements, development, testing, deployment)
  • Production Support: Provide L3 support, resolve daily production issues, and mentor L2 support teams
  • Platform Development: Design, develop, and implement changes to the IDM platform, ensuring smooth release planning and promotion across environments (UAT, PROD)
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct system and regression testing, support UAT, and ensure adherence to standards
  • Business Analysis & Advisory: Analyse business data/process requirements and advise on implementation approaches for IDM-related projects
