Security Assurance Tester – e DV Cleared
Location: Candidates can be based from any HS location, with occasional travel to London for key programme activities and stakeholder engagement.
Clearance: Active e DV clearance is essential.
The Opportunity
We are supporting a major Oracle Cloud transformation programme delivering the migration of critical business systems into a secure cloud environment.
We are looking for an experienced Security Assurance Tester to validate the effectiveness of security controls throughout the programme.
Working alongside Security Architects, engineers, and programme stakeholders, you will identify vulnerabilities, assess security controls, and provide assurance that solutions meet stringent security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct security assurance and testing activities across cloud-based solutions.
- Validate the implementation and effectiveness of security controls.
- Identify vulnerabilities and assess associated risks.
- Produce high-quality assurance reports with practical recommendations.
- Work closely with Security Architects and engineering teams to resolve security findings.
- Communicate technical risks and remediation actions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support security governance and compliance activities throughout the programme lifecycle.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong background in Security Testing and Security Assurance.
- Understanding of Security Architecture principles.
- Experience with Network Security.
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IDAM).
- Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience is desirable
- Proven ability to identify vulnerabilities, assess security controls, and produce assurance findings and recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
