Scot Lewis is working with a brilliant and growing, Bristol based technology company, helping them as they look to expand their talented software engineering team. The company uses a very broad range of tech, across several greenfield projects and R&D environments, encompassing everything from full stack development to embedded C/C++, AI and Machine Learning tools and AWS / Azure cloud services to provide bespoke, secure software solutions to Government and Defence customers.
We’re looking for several hands‑on Software Engineers, from a variety of technical backgrounds, with proficiency in multiple programming languages. The ideal candidates will be responsible for developing high‑quality code and should have a good working knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with customers and stakeholders of all levels.
Skills we’re interested in:
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages - such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go or C++
- Knowledge of front‑end technologies like React, Vue or Angular
- Experience with database technologies: SQL server, PostgreSQL, MySQL or inter‑SQL
- Working knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud services
