Scot JCB are looking for an experienced Service Administrator to join our busy team in Glasgow. This is a key role where you’ll manage customer accounts, coordinate with our dealers, and help deliver the first-class service we are known for.
At Scot JCB, you’ll be part of a long-established, growing company where your contribution really matters. You’ll work with a supportive team, gain exposure to an industry-leading brand, and have opportunities to develop your skills within a respected and successful business.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm, based at our Dennistoun office.
This role involves:
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers
- Contacting sites to arrange access to their machines
- Contacting customers for order numbers
- Being the intermediary between our dealers and customers
- Organising pre delivery inspections and machine deliveries
- Sublet reconciliation
- Processing invoices
- Scanning warranty sublets orders to digital
- Creating and processing job cards
- Assisting with creating estimates for damage repairs
- Liaising with dealers for repairs and up to date service information
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Working closely with, and supporting, our service supervisors
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a similar role within Construction, Engineering, or the Motor industry
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proven experience of working in a busy team and meeting deadlines
- The ability to manage changing priorities and tasks
- Strong communication skills and rapport building
- Confidence using Microsoft applications, especially Excel
- The ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload
- Confidence in embracing new systems and supporting supervisors through change
- A proactive, positive, and flexible approach to work
