We are looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to join our team in Glasgow. This is a varied role which involves supporting the wider sales team across the company and working on our main switchboard.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Being the first point of contact for any enquiries
- Creating new and used job cards for service and sales departments
- Ordering machines for customers and from JCB
- Organising machinery transport moves
- Assisting the sales team with any machine enquiries
- Invoicing new and used machinery
- Using our system to log machine movements internally and externally
- Stock control β booking machines in and out of the system
- Road taxing machines
- HPI checks when raising sales invoices
- Supporting the Sales Admin Supervisor
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers
Qualifications:
- Experience working within a similar administration role
- Experience within the plant industry, car industry or similar would be advantageous
Required Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and process driven
- Strong IT skills and the ability to embrace new IT systems
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work well in a fast-paced environment
- A good understanding of the importance of excellent customer service and building rapport with customers
- A flexible, positive and outgoing approach to work
- A friendly and approachable manner and be able to assist engineers, managers, and customers
