Scot JCB are looking for a skilled Spray Painter to work from our brand-new purpose-built paint shop at our Glenrothes depot. This is a workshop-based role, and we are looking for a confident and independent individual with a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding and priming as necessary
  • Prepare construction & agricultural machinery for repair and paintwork
  • Carry out damage repairs as needed
  • Apply paint products correctly and to a high standard
  • Mix and match paint to achieve an accurate finish
  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation
  • Complete job cards, timesheets, risk assessments, and other required paperwork
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
  • Assist with general workshop duties and support other departments when required
  • Fitting decals and livery to manufacturers' specification
