Spray Painter

Join to apply for the Spray Painter role at Scot Industrial Air. This workshop‑based position will be based in our brand‑new purpose‑built paint shop at the Glenrothes depot. We are looking for a confident, independent individual with a keen eye for detail.

Salary: Competitive base rate plus overtime and bonus.

Who are we?

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding and priming as necessary
• Prepare construction & agricultural machinery for repair and paintwork
• Carry out damage repairs as needed
• Apply paint products correctly and to a high standard
• Mix and match paint to achieve an accurate finish
• Maintain a clean and organised workstation
• Complete job cards, timesheets, risk assessments and other required paperwork
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
• Assist with general workshop duties and support other departments when required
• Fit decals and livery to the manufacturer\’s specification

What We’re Looking For

• A fully qualified, time‑served spray painter with proven experience in a professional workshop
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work to tight deadlines to meet customer needs
• A team player who is also confident working independently
• Able to work safely, skilfully and meet deadlines
• Flexible and able to adapt in a fast‑paced environment
• Good communication skills
