A well-established food production company is seeking a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join their engineering team. This role is crucial in maintaining and optimising production equipment across a large-scale manufacturing site. Key Responsibilities: * Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, installations, and breakdown repairs. * Conduct planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime. * Support plant modifications and scheduled shutdown maintenance. * Diagnose and repair electrical systems, motors, pumps, actuators, and conveyors. * Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards. * Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency breakdown support. Key Skills & Qualifications: * Proven engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. * Electrical & Mechanical qualifications (Level 3 preferred, 18th Edition desirable). * Additional certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, or Forklift (beneficial but not essential). * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
