Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, management, and development of a Data Generation book of work.
  • Partner with matrix stakeholders to plan and design data generation plans (DGP), drive disciplined study execution, translate results, and disseminate findings internally and externally.
  • Provide scientific leadership for real-world evidence and non-interventional study methodologies, including enabling external scientific advice and incorporating protocol review committee guidance.
  • Engage external experts, clinical guideline groups, HTA agencies, and methodology/policy forums to drive innovation and enable efficient evidence development across the lifecycle.
  • Integrate expertise in global HTA bodies, clinical guidelines, payer decision makers, and processes related to recommendation, reimbursement, pricing, and access.
  • Lead discussions to prioritize data generation based on business and customer needs.
  • Deliver materials for internal governance (e.g., Medical Review Board).
  • Facilitate alignment across complex stakeholder matrices (clinical, commercial, market access, medical affairs, priority market LOCs, and external suppliers).
  • Represent the company in external collaborations and evidence requirements with partners and decision makers.
  • Drive quality and compliance of delivered evidence; ensure performance reporting, studies are delivered on plan and within budget.

Qualifications (Required):

  • PhD, PharmD, or equivalent in health outcomes/PROs, health economics, epidemiology, pharmacy, health, or life sciences.
  • 5+ years in global pharmaceuticals in a leadership role with line management experience.
  • Strong business acumen; ability to translate customer needs into actionable data generation plans.
  • Methods expertise for robust payer evidence deliverables and credibility with external experts.
  • Knowledge of global and local healthcare markets, HTA, and reimbursement decision-making.
  • Understanding of health economics/outcomes, comparative effectiveness, PRO research, and PRO instruments for local decision-making.
  • Deep knowledge of drug development and therapy area.
  • Strong communication, matrix leadership, and stakeholder management; ability to work independently.
  • Experience across product lifecycles; senior experience leading a complex portfolio and analytics staff.

Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Advanced degree specialized in health outcomes.
  • Experience in above-country and in-country roles.
  • Hepatology therapeutic area experience.
  • Experience supporting assets in complex competitor landscapes.
  • Direct payer experience.
  • Launch experience.
  • Portfolio of high value publications and/or scientific promotions.
