Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- The trainee will have exposure to the following areas:
- Corporate / Transactions, including JVs
- Transactional Shipping / Ship Finance
- Capital Markets
- Commercial Contracts
- Litigation (usually through a secondment to a law firm)
Experience
- Paralegal experience preferred.
- Background in the shipping industry preferred.

Qualifications
- Completed the Legal Practice Course or be eligible to complete the SQE.
- Passed LLB or higher undergraduate degree (English or other common law jurisdiction) with at least a 2.1 grade.
- Graduated from one of the top 20 UK Universities.
