PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

The trainee will have exposure to the following areas: Corporate / Transactions, including JVs; Transactional Shipping / Ship Finance; Capital Markets; Commercial Contracts; and Litigation (usually through a secondment to a law firm).

EXPERIENCE

Paralegal experience preferred. Background in the shipping industry preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

Completed the Legal Practice Course or be eligible to complete the SQE. Passed LLB or higher undergraduate degree (English or other common law jurisdiction) with at least a 2.1 grade. Graduated from one of the top 20 UK Universities.
