About the role

The Strategic Marketing Associate will play a key role in developing and executing corporate and marketing strategies that align with Score’s long-term business objectives. This role includes market research, competitive analysis, strategic planning and projects, as well as supporting marketing campaigns to drive business growth and enhance brand visibility.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Group Head of Marketing and Communications.

We are looking for a strategic thinker with a background in either business, commercial operations, marketing or consulting/strategy. You should be skilled in developing data-driven strategies as well as a strong communicator. Proficiency in analysis tools (such as MS Excel) and communication tools (such as MS PowerPoint) is essential. Additionally, the role requires someone who is a self-starter that can build trust and relationships across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the execution of Score’s annual strategic planning process.
  2. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in key markets.
  3. Analyze competitors’ strategies, pricing models, and market positioning.
  4. Support business units in aligning operational plans with overall strategic goals.
  5. Collaborate with your colleagues in the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns that target Score Group’s key customer segments.
  6. Contribute to the creation of content and materials to support Score’s marketing and business development efforts, including presentations, brochures, and case studies.
  7. Gather and analyze data to evaluate the success of strategic initiatives.
  8. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management to guide decision-making.
  9. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and suggest areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, finance, management consulting, or a similar analytical role preferred.
  3. Strong understanding of B2B industrial sectors, preferably in energy, oil and gas, or engineering services.

  3. Proficiency in market research tools and data analysis.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
