This is an exciting time to join Score’s Services Department within Valves, we are looking for an Inside Sales Engineer to support our growing, fast-paced sales team.

The Inside Sales Engineer will be responsible for the quoting, processing, and control of all assigned Sales Enquiries and Orders within their department. All work shall be carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures and work instructions. This role reports directly to the Inside Sales Manager.

Primary responsibilities

  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions
  • Check stock for Valve solutions to satisfy client requirements
  • Produce price and delivery to issue to Market Place to satisfy Client requirements
  • Complete Technical and Commercial review of supplier quotations to ensure compliance with Client requirements and specifications
  • Produce Sales Quotations to Client for all requirements with Score scope of supply
  • Complete Contract Review for new supply activities
  • Produce Purchase Requisition for procurement of any items within Score scope of supply to satisfy new supply activities
  • Produce Picklist and issue work instruction to Production for new supply activities
  • Co-ordination and interface function for all aspects of the Score organisation to ensure all materials are delivered in a timely manner
  • Technical assistance and resolution of QA goods in and goods out issues in a timely manner
  • Correspond and communicate professionally
  • Update and utilise company systems – electronic and paper based
  • Any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business

Qualifications & Experience

  • HNC Qualification in an Engineering Discipline or proven and recurring success in commercial and technical evaluations in a similar role
  • Sound working knowledge of MS Office package – Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Sound working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Experience in a Sales or Engineering environment (valve industry preferred but not essential)
