The Electrical Lead Technician is responsible for the inspection and repair of all electrical equipment that is processed through the various buildings within Score Europe’s site in Peterhead as well as fulfilling the roles of the supervisor in his/her absence.
Primary responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring that Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and general housekeeping standards are always maintained.
- Carry out all duties in accordance with Electrical guidelines, Score (Europe) Ltd policies, procedures and work Instructions.
- Provide Technical support to all workshop personnel and where required make key decisions.
- Help manage, plan and co-ordinate all work scopes along with attending planning meetings where required.
- Understand the basics of departmental figures and help support the department with the control of on-the-job costs.
- Embrace continuous improvement exercises and endeavour to improve efficiency, profitability, quality and delivery performance at all times.
- Liaise with other workshops to offer support where priorities dictate. (HSE, Operational)
- Assist supervisor with day-to-day personnel issues, i.e. Timekeeping, Work Ethic, Grievances, Disciplinary issues etc for workshop personnel.
- Provide technical support as required for all electrical matters.
- Provide workshop support & assistance in the overhaul and testing of Electrical Actuators.
- Responsible for the processing of approved jobs to ensure jobs they are complete and delivered within the contractual date.
- Offer guidance and support to any 3rd party contractors working on site.
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 3 award in Electrical Installations BS7671:2018
- Ex01-04 CompEx Inspection and Installation Course
- MEWP Training
- All the above would be preferred but not essential
- Fixed Wire Inspections
- 415v Installation and Fault Finding
- Experience working with computers
