The Digital Innovation Manager is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing digital technologies and strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes like growth, cost savings, and improved customer experience. This role acts as a catalyst for innovation, working cross-functionally to explore emerging technologies, pilot new digital solutions, and scale successful initiatives across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the discovery and implementation of innovative digital technologies aligned with strategic business goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify challenges and opportunities for digital transformation.
  • Own and lead development of digital initiative business cases (ensure benefits are realistic and agreed) and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Manage a portfolio of innovation projects, including pilot testing, and scaling of digital solutions. Facilitate handover to delivery teams with a clear benefits profile
  • Evaluate emerging trends (AI, IoT, etc.) and translate them into viable business opportunities.
  • Establish frameworks for innovation governance, including ideation, prioritisation, testing, and scaling.
  • Build strategic partnerships with startups, technology providers, and research institutions.
  • Monitor the ROI of digital projects and ensure alignment with KPIs and value drivers.
  • Champion a culture of innovation within the organisation through workshops, internal campaigns, and training.
  • Support change management and user adoption of new technologies and processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Relevant previous experience in digital transformation, innovation management, or technology strategy.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading digital initiatives from ideation to implementation, with clear outcomes in cost reduction, revenue growth, or improved performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of modern digital tools, platforms, and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Design Thinking).
  • Experience working with emerging technologies such as AI/ML, automation, data analytics, or cloud platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Comfortable engaging with finance and business leaders to build and validate business cases
