About the role: We are currently looking to recruit a Stores Administrator on a fixed term contract for 6 months within our busy Gas Turbines division. We will consider night shift or day shift for this position. The Administrator will be responsible for assistance in logistics and stock control as well as the completion of any administration related work within their department. All work shall be carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures and work instructions.
Primary responsibilities
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions
- Manage telephone calls and enquiries into the department
- General admin duties i.e. typing, data input, filing, scanning, archiving etc.
- Update efficiently, accurately and utilise company systems – electronic and/or paper based
- Processing duties and systems administration as required to cover all areas within the department
- Correspond and communicate professionally with both internal and external clients
- Assist with department audits when required
- Any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualification to minimum SVQ level 3 in admin related discipline
- Systems training
- Sound working knowledge of MS Office package – Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience gained whilst undertaking SVQ Level 3 within Score Limited or demonstrable experience within a similar role with another company.
