Sales Consultant

Job Description:
Due to expansion, our client is currently seeking multiple Protection Consultants to join their team. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing guidance to clients on life insurance, critical illness and income protection products. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of the protection market and the ability to identify and discuss the most appropriate products to meet the individual needs of the client.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to clients on the full range of protection products including life insurance, critical illness and income protection.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of client needs and discuss the most appropriate products to meet their individual requirements.
- Build strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and advice throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Collaborate with other members of the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Keep up to date with changes in the protection market, including regulatory requirements, industry trends and competitor activity.
- Ensure all sales activity is compliant with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
- Ideally proven experience in the protection market, ideally within life insurance, critical illness, and income protection. (Not essential, other backgrounds will be considered)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
- Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Site based role and you will be calling potential candidates to discuss life insurance, critical illness & income protection products. Leads will be given to you.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure all sales activity is compliant with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Salary & Benefits:
- £32,500 basic starting salary
- OTE (on target earnings) are £50,200, uncapped too
- Many of the team are on much more than this
- Monday Friday, 40 hours a week
- Hybrid with 3 days a week WFH after training period
- Private medical care (after probational period is passed)
