You will take ownership of a portfolio of complex global accounts, leveraging strong broker relationships in the London Market while actively developing new business opportunities. With a clear mandate to grow and diversify the book, you'll play a key role in delivering profitable, technically sound underwriting aligned to the wider business strategy. This role offers genuine breadth, from High Excess and primary lead business to international programme structures, and the opportunity to help expand SBS's lead capabilities globally.
You will be:
- Managing and growing an established international portfolio, including renewals, endorsements, client and broker meetings, risk visits and claims involvement.
- Writing technically strong, profitable business that contributes directly to SCOR's underwriting results.
- Developing SCOR's market presence and leadership position across multiple geographies.
- Structuring and negotiating bespoke wordings and service solutions for complex risks.
- Writing lead and international programme business with confidence and authority.
- Representing SCOR at major international industry events and client conferences.
- Partnering closely with the Global Line Head to expand the business across London, Europe and North.
Some of the key areas of responsibility are as follows:
- Receive, select and evaluate offers of business from various sources, calculate ratings and negotiate the bespoke wordings of the contracts.
- Generate and originate new offers and promote SCOR by pro-active marketing in accordance with the strategy and guidelines defined in the SCOR's Roadmap and relevant guidelines.
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients and brokers; travel as and when required to do so.
- Attend broker and client hosted events.
- Respond to all enquiries in a timely manner.
