hELIOS is the global Life & Health (L&H) administration platform designed to manage individual-level data across SCOR’s reinsurance business. The platform is built around three core pillars:
- Business Administration – Streamlining treaty administration processes such as bordereaux management, claims referrals, and medical underwriting.
- Operational Efficiency – Enhancing user experience with automated workflows, integrated systems, and consistent data processing.
- Data Centricity – Delivering standardized, accurate, and accessible data to support decision-making in areas such as modeling, experience analysis, and knowledge management.
As part of the Forward 2026 strategic plan, hELIOS is being deployed across L&H markets (excluding the US and China) to support the administration of assumed and retrocession premiums and claims. The hELIOS Portal is a key interface used by clients and internal teams to exchange reinsurance data.
Responsibilities
- Assist users worldwide: manage user creation, troubleshoot production issues, and coordinate follow‑ups with IT teams.
- Support corrective maintenance activities and help ensure platform stability.
- Contribute to automated regression testing creation in preparation for the 2027 technical upgrade and potential new business needs.
- Review and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with the current operating model.
- Document new requirements, user stories, or enhancements when needed and maintain the product backlog.
- Help with change‑management activities, including trainings, communication and supporting the global user community.
- Depending on workload and priorities, assist Product Owners from other hELIOS components, such as Life Admin, by contributing to support tasks or cross‑functional activities.
Qualifications
Required experience & competencies
- Experience: Academic background or internship experience related to Information Systems, Data, Business Analysis, Insurance, or Reinsurance. Interest in digital platforms, operations, or back‑office processes within financial services or insurance. Exposure to life insurance or reinsurance concepts is a plus, but not required.
- Technical skills: Agile methodology. Basic knowledge of testing principles; interest in automated regression testing is an advantage.
- Soft skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with curiosity and a learning mindset. Clear and confident communicator, able to interact with end-users and IT teams. Organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive in following up on issues and tasks. Team‑oriented with a service‑focused mindset, especially when supporting users. Adaptable and comfortable working in a changing project environment with shifting priorities.
Required Education
Master of science, Master of Technology or Master of Business Administration.
