The team is part of SCOR’s P&C Operations organization and acts as a central function supporting global P&C business processes.
Within P&C Operations, the P&C Lead Reporting Analyst is responsible for leading the design and delivery of high-impact, business-critical reporting solutions, combining advanced analytical expertise, strong technical leadership and stakeholder engagement to drive trusted, data-led decision-making across tactical and strategic reporting platforms.
- Job Summary
- As a Lead Reporting Analyst, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of complex reporting solutions, shaping requirements with stakeholders, challenging and refining business needs, and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, growth objectives, sustainability commitments and regulatory obligations.
- You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, development teams, data engineers and external resources, providing clear direction on priorities, design, implementation and launch.
Leveraging tools such as Power BI, Palantir, Excel, SQL and other SCOR-approved technologies, you will help define scalable reporting solutions while ensuring data quality, consistency and reliability.
- Beyond project delivery, you will provide oversight of business-as-usual reporting activities, ensuring operational resilience, service continuity and continuous improvement across tactical and strategic reporting platforms such as SSMS, Excel and Power BI.
- Contribute a business perspective where new technologies could advance SCOR’s analytical advantage, including but not limited to Palantir, Azure Databricks, Spark, and the use, integration or build of AI models.
- Be an active contributor in identifying new ways and techniques to help business teams better understand data, including conceptual data models, data quality monitoring, completeness checks and base business requirements.
- Act as a key contributor in designing and developing frameworks and standards that promote good data hygiene, create a consistent way of interacting with platforms, and establish a continually improving methodology to elicit end-to-end user interactions and use cases.
- This role also involves coaching and mentoring junior team members, promoting best practices in reporting and data analysis, delivering targeted training on data assets and Power BI, and building trusted relationships with SCOR stakeholders.
You will support regulatory reporting deadlines, assess and document change requirements, and guide implementation through development clarifications, testing and UAT cycles.
Responsibilities
- Core Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and analysis of complex reporting requirements, proactively challenging assumptions, aligning expectations with stakeholders, and ensuring consistency with business strategy, regulatory standards and data governance principles.
- Shape and validate reporting prototypes in collaboration with data engineers, ensuring proposed solutions are scalable, maintainable and aligned with stakeholder expectations and target reporting architecture.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders, development teams and external resources, providing direction, removing ambiguity, managing expectations and ensuring effective coordination across the project lifecycle.
- Own the testing and UAT approach for reporting deliverables, ensuring accuracy, reliability, traceability and timely sign-off from relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure reporting solutions are handed over with clear documentation, training and operating guidance, enabling sustainable adoption and effective ongoing ownership by business users and support teams.
- Data Quality Management
- Establish and identify data quality concerns and issues, working with P&C Operations to ensure the appropriate level of monitoring is performed.
- Participate in ongoing data quality reviews and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support the continuous improvement to enhance, improve and streamline data management processes.
- Regulatory and External Collaboration
- Lead collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring robust planning, clear accountability and consistent achievement of regulatory deadlines.
- Provide analytical support for statutory and regulatory reporting initiatives, maintaining strong controls, compliance discipline and quality standards.
- In collaboration with Data Engineers, lead the build, testing and implementation of regulatory reporting solutions.
- Guide stakeholders through validation, sign-off and submission of regulatory returns.
- Technical Development and Support
- Provide technical and functional leadership to Analysts, Data & Analytics Developers, Data Engineers and business users in the specification and development of reports, data extracts, dashboards and analytical outputs.
- Apply advanced knowledge of reporting tools and data technologies, including Excel, Power BI and SQL, to consolidate, cleanse, transform, reconcile and present data from multiple sources.
- Lead the resolution of data quality, reconciliation and completeness issues, driving root-cause analysis and sustainable improvements to ensure accurate, timely and trusted information across the organization.
- Business-as-Usual (BAU) Support
- Provide oversight of existing reporting processes, ensuring reliability, accuracy, operational resilience and timely delivery of business-critical outputs.
- Drive continuous improvement across tactical and strategic reporting platforms, including Power BI, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), to increase efficiency, control and user adoption.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Build trusted relationships with SCOR stakeholders, anticipating needs, influencing priorities and translating business challenges into effective reporting and data solutions.
- Lead the implementation of changes by clarifying development needs, assessing impacts, coordinating testing activities and supporting UAT cycles through to successful delivery.

- Advanced Power BI expertise, including data modelling, dashboard design, performance optimisation and user adoption
- Strong SQL capability, including data extraction, transformation, reconciliation and analysis across complex datasets
- Advanced MS Excel skills for analysis, controls, reconciliation and executive-ready reporting outputs
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with business and technology stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional delivery, coach junior analysts, drive continuous improvement and promote reporting best practices
