The team is growing and focused on game integrity. You will be collaborating with cyber-security, data engineers, product managers, and tech leadership on our mission of making the game safer and fair.
Our tech stack:
- A Unity mobile game with a .NET/C# back-end
- Heavy use of AWS on our infrastructure (EC2, Memcache, Dynamo, Redis, ElasticSearch...)
- CI/CD pipeline, including GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Spinakler and other products
- Monitoring: Datadog, Bugsnag, Kibana (OpenSearch), AWS console...
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience (or equivalent)
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (C#, Java, Go, C++, etc.). Willingness to learn C#/.NET if not already experienced.
- Fundamental understanding of Unity or similar game engines.
- Experience or familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and services such as DynamoDB, Redis, and EC2.
- Good understanding of fundamentals on distributed systems (concurrency, latency, etc.)
- Comfort collaborating with data engineers/scientists in designing data-driven solutions.
- Experience collaborating with other disciplines (game design, product), in particular, understanding and writing documentation.
- Willingness to learn and change areas of the system outside your comfort zone if needed (like native mobile code or new AWS services)
- An interest in cybersecurity, game integrity, and anti-cheat systems.
Why join us:
- Opportunity to create a significant impact in our largest game.
- The challenge of working on a +10M DAU scale product.
- Our team offers exposure to this project's wide range of tech, including front-end, Mobile, Server, and infrastructure.
