Scopely is looking for a Senior QA to join our Stumble Guys team in Barcelona, Spain or Dundee, Scotland on a hybrid basis working 3 days a week from the hub.

What You Will Do
- Lead and coordinate QA across the full release lifecycle, acting as the primary QA owner for releases.
- Define and lead release‑level test strategies and plans based on new scope, ensuring effective coverage across features, content, and platforms.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the product roadmap to assess upcoming scope, quality risks, and release readiness.
- Support concurrent mobile releases, including iOS and Android.
- Proactively communicate release risks, blockers, and overall quality status, providing clear and actionable QA reporting including TestRail progress and results.
- Monitor, prioritize, and drive resolution of critical defects, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventative actions to reduce recurrence.
- Support and guide external QA teams during testing, setting test focus, priorities, and providing hands‑on testing support when required.
- Create, maintain, and evolve QA documentation, ensuring clear communication across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvements to QA processes, tools, and documentation, mentoring other QA team members and influencing best practices.
- Provide holistic quality insight using test results, defect trends, and stability data to make data driven decisions.
- Manage the deployment and distribution of release builds for QA, coordinating closely with Engineering and Production release owners.
- Use debugging and configuration tools to support thorough game testing and independently resolve complex quality issues, making recommendations that impact release outcomes, processes, and tooling.
- Contribute to team ceremonies, supporting alignment, delivery, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Need
- Proactive and adaptable, able to identify risks, drive change with urgency, and reprioritise effectively in a fast‑paced release environment.
- 5+ years of experience in QA (video games or software), including experience in a Senior QA or Release QA role.
- Experience supporting QA across live product releases, including build coordination, release readiness, and cross‑platform testing (including iOS and Android).
- Proven ability to work closely with Engineering, Production, and external QA or vendor teams.
- Experience defining, building, and executing functional test plans for new scope and release content, with strong knowledge of exploratory and destructive testing techniques.
- Strong understanding of how to identify, investigate, and report defects in video games, with the ability to think through complex permutations and edge cases.
- Familiarity with QA reporting and test management tools such as TestRail, and experience using debugging, configuration, or live‑ops tools to support testing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the “why” behind quality decisions and align cross‑functional teams.
- A critical, analytical, and creative problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to break down complex challenges into manageable tasks.
- Excitement about working on F2P games across multiple platforms.
